Our leadership role in the Pragati initiative played a major role.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraphs\">\n<div class=\"paragraph paragraph--with1cols paragraph-number-1\">\n<div class=\"paragraph-column paragraph-column-1 o  o  o paragraph-column-1-is-1\">\n<div class=\"paragraph-column-inner\">\n<div class=\"paragraph-column-element\">\n<div class=\"text\">\n<p>On November 21, at the BMW center for excellence in Landshut, Germany, BMW recognized 15 suppliers from across the globe for their outstanding achievement in 5 categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sustainability<\/li>\n<li>Productivity<\/li>\n<li>Efficient Dynamics<\/li>\n<li>Digitalization<\/li>\n<li>Emotional Experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"text\">\n<p>In the category of sustainability, Arkema, BASF (grand prize winner), and Samsung SDI were each presented with a trophy and were each applauded for their outstanding achievements.<\/p>\n<p>During the award ceremony, top management from BMW commented that <em>&#8220;Arkema has initiated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arkema.com\/en\/media\/news\/news-details\/Arkema-and-its-partners-help-over-1000-Indian-farmers-successfully-complete-the-worlds-first-sustainable-castor-bean-program\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a sustainability project involving 2,700 India castor farmers<\/a>, who have managed to increase their crop yields by 55 percent in just 2 years.
