{"id":12269,"date":"2019-03-26T08:54:09","date_gmt":"2019-03-26T07:54:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/php8.plastv.de\/?p=12269"},"modified":"2019-03-25T10:02:39","modified_gmt":"2019-03-25T09:02:39","slug":"songwon-industrial-group-welcomes-a-new-member-to-its-board-of-directors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/plas.tv\/?p=12269","title":{"rendered":"SONGWON Industrial Group welcomes a new member to its Board of Directors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';\">SONGWON Industrial announced that Markus Oppliger was appointed to its Board of Directors at SONGWON\u2019s Annual General Shareholders\u2019 Meeting (AGM) held in Ulsan, Korea on March 22.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';\">\u201cWe are very pleased to have Markus Oppliger join us as the newest member of our Board,\u201d said Maurizio Butti, CEO. \u201cHis skills and experience combined with his broad international perspective will be a real asset as SONGWON continues to grow as a specialty chemicals leader.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';\">Swiss-born Oppliger, fills the vacancy on the Board left by Yung Ku Ha who resigned his position at the end of 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';\">Commenting, Jongho Park, Chairman of the Board said: \u201cSONGWON\u2019s Board of Directors would like to express its great appreciation to Mr. Yung Ku Ha for his valuable contributions and service to the Group over the past three years, and wish him all the best and much success in all his future endeavors.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';\">The newly elected Board of Directors now comprises three executive members (Maurizio Butti, Hans-Peter W\u00fcest and Choung-Sik Kim) and four non-executive members (Jongho Park, Dieter Morath, Gerhard Schlosser and Markus Oppliger) and as per Korean regulations, this is equivalent to five inside directors and two outside directors.
