Nordson Industrial Coating Systems (ICS) has announced the availability of a new powder coating application booth in the Nordson Mexico Industrial Coating Systems customer demonstration center in the El Marqu\u00e9s de Quer\u00e9taro industrial park.<\/p>\n
The new booth features state-of-the-art equipment, including Nordson\u2019s latest powder coating application controller, Encore\u00ae<\/sup> Engage<\/a>. Featuring a modern user interface and step-by-step support for operators, Encore Engage works with Nordson\u2019s Wisdom\u2122 smart connected platform<\/a> to bring the industrial internet of things (IIoT) to powder coating.<\/p>\n “One of the many advantages to Nordson customers is leveraging our employees\u2019 years of powder coating expertise,\u201d says Dan Thompson, Senior Director of Sales, Nordson Industrial Coating Systems. \u201cCoupled with our continued investment in facilities and training programs, nobody does more to ensure customers are getting the most from their powder coating equipment. Nordson continues to be an innovative and strategic partner to our customers worldwide.\u201d<\/p>\n The new booth expands Nordson\u2019s demonstration center capabilities. The center is available to customers to conduct testing. Powder coaters considering purchasing a new Nordson powder coating system can see the equipment in action, and even bring in their own parts and powder to test. Customers can also use the space to test new applications or system upgrades or to train employees.<\/p>\n In addition to using the demonstration center for customer testing, Nordson also uses the facility for Nordson University workshops, which began in Mexico in 2016. The program in Mexico builds off the success of the program in facility located in the United States. Workshops are offered twice a year, and approximately 50 finishing professionals attend each one.
