{"id":19896,"date":"2020-03-24T10:42:56","date_gmt":"2020-03-24T09:42:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/php8.plastv.de\/?p=19896"},"modified":"2020-03-23T10:46:43","modified_gmt":"2020-03-23T09:46:43","slug":"exibajoins-styrenics-circular-solutions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/plas.tv\/?p=19896","title":{"rendered":"Exibajoins Styrenics Circular Solutions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u2022 Styrenics Circular Solutions welcomes Exiba as a new member<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Key contributor to European thermal insulation sector joins SCS\u2019 drive for full circularity of styrenics<\/p>\n<p>Styrenics Circular Solutions (SCS), the value chain initiative to increase the circularity of styrenic polymers, has been joined by a new member, the European Extruded Polystyrene Insulation Board Association (Exiba), the organization of producers of extruded polystyrene foam (XPS).<\/p>\n<p>Exiba joins SCS members COEXPAN, ELIX Polymers, INEOS Styrolution, Repsol, TOMRA, Total, Trinseo and Versalis (Eni).<\/p>\n<p>Jens Kathmann, Secretary General of SCS, commented: \u201cAll of the SCS team extends a very warm welcome to Exiba. Their own membership represents the majority of the production capacity of XPS foams within Europe and is an important player in the European building and construction sector. This means that with Exiba as SCS members, we have another very important part of the value chain working with us to exploit the unique capacity that styrenics have for circularity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Andriy Kotsyumbas, Vice-Chairman of Exiba, said: \u201cOur whole organisation is committed to our membership of SCS and to the crucial role that styrenics will playin contributing to the circular economy and the European Commission\u2019s \u201crenovation wave\u201d.
