The purpose-built facility has been fitted out with the latest automated manufacturing equipment &#8211; increasing Huntsman\u2019s production capacity and its ability to run customer trials.\u00a0 The investment is the latest milestone in Huntsman\u2019s rich history of supporting the safety glazing and surface protection markets:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1975:\u00a0 Huntsman introduced KRYSTALGRAN<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> PE192, an optical aliphatic technology<\/li>\n<li>1992:\u00a0 KRYSTALGRAN\u00ae PE102 is introduced for the protection of wind turbine blades<\/li>\n<li>1993:\u00a0 KRYSTALFLEX<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> PE399 is introduced \u2013 a primer-less optical aliphatic for safety glazing applications<\/li>\n<li>2004:\u00a0 KRYSTALFLEX<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> PE501 is introduced as a higher strength anti-ballistic film<\/li>\n<li>2020:\u00a0 Huntsman expands production capacity at its Ringwood, IL facility to further support the safety glazing and surface protection industries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Huntsman\u2019s KRYSTALGRAN<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> and KRYSTALFLEX<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> TPU products are widely used in surface protection and safety glazing applications worldwide &#8211; with KRYSTALFLEX<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> films renowned for setting the standard for interlayer laminating applications within the glass industry. The materials are used to strengthen anti-ballistic glass used in military vehicles, banks and government buildings.
