{"id":28119,"date":"2021-09-29T08:25:19","date_gmt":"2021-09-29T06:25:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/php8.plastv.de\/?p=28119"},"modified":"2021-09-28T10:32:28","modified_gmt":"2021-09-28T08:32:28","slug":"jinneng-chemical-selected-lyondellbasell-technology-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/plas.tv\/?p=28119","title":{"rendered":"Jinneng Chemical selected LyondellBasell technology again"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"grid__item\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"grid__item desk--two-thirds\">\n<div class=\"grid\">\n<div class=\"grid__item\">\n<div class=\"text\">\n<p>LyondellBasell has announced that Jinneng Chemical Co., Ltd. has again selected LyondellBasell\u2019s leading polypropylene technology for a new world scale production facility.<\/p>\n<p>The facility will include a 450 kiloton per annum (KTA) polypropylene (PP) plant using LyondellBasell\u2019s <em>Spherizone<\/em> technology as well as a 450 KTA PP plant using LyondellBasell\u2019s <em>Spheripol<\/em> technology. The facility will be built in Qingdao City, Shandong Province, Peoples Republic of China.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJinneng Chemical\u2019s choice to again use LyondellBasell\u2019s PP technology for their Qingdao City facility, will enable them to produce a full range of PP products to serve an increasingly demanding Chinese polymer market\u201d said Neil Nadalin, Director of Licensing at LyondellBasell. Nadalin added, \u201dProduct differentiation is of increasing importance; and in selecting the <em>Spherizone<\/em> technology, our licensees are best prepared to take on that challenge. Additionally, we are very pleased that Jinneng Chemical has again chosen the easy-to-operate <em>Spheripol<\/em> process, as their phase 1 <em>Spheripol<\/em> process line approaches start-up\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. QIN Qingping, Founder and CEO of Jinneng Science &amp; Technology Company., Ltd., parent company of Jinneng Chemical (Qingdao) Co. Ltd., stated, \u201cWe are excited to expand our existing relationship with LyondellBasell. The selected S<em>pherizone<\/em> technology will allow us to effectively enter new markets and applications due to superior product properties whereas the <em>Spheripol<\/em> technology will support our aim to grow effectively in volume on a global benchmark basis\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Spherizone<\/em> multi-zone circulating reactor (MZCR) provides a unique and innovative platform to manufacture PP products with novel architecture and enhanced product properties. With this contract, now more than 25 plants operating <em>Spherizone<\/em> process technology have been licensed worldwide.<\/p>\n<p><em>Spheripol<\/em> is the leading PP process with more than 30 million tons of licensed capacity. The latest fifth generation <em>Spheripol<\/em> technology includes process improvements that further maximize operational efficiency.<\/p>\n<p>Both plants will commence operations using LyondellBasell\u2019s <em>Avant<\/em> ZN catalyst.<\/p>\n<p>New licensees take advantage of LyondellBasell\u2019s in-house expertise of continuous production improvement, sustainable product development and catalyst knowhow, by optionally joining our Technical Service program.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the <em>Spheripol<\/em> and <em>Spherizone<\/em> process technology, LyondellBasell\u2019s portfolio of licensed polyolefin processes and catalysts includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Hostalen<\/em> \u2013 Leading low-pressure slurry process for the production of high-performance multimodal HDPE.<\/li>\n<li><em>Lupotech<\/em> \u2013 The market leader on high pressure technology offers, with its high conversion rates and effective heat recovery system, the lowest operating and investment costs for the production of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymers.<\/li>\n<li><em>Spherilene<\/em> \u2013 Flexible gas phase process technology for the production of LLDPE, MDPE and HDPE.<\/li>\n<li><em>Metocene<\/em> PP \u2013 Innovative add-on technology for the production of specialty polypropylene products using single-site catalyst systems<\/li>\n<li><em>Avant<\/em> \u2013 Advanced Ziegler-Natta, including non-phthalate, chromium and metallocene catalysts for entire range of polyolefin production.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About LyondellBasell<\/strong>:<br \/>\nLyondellBasell\u00a0(NYSE: LYB) is one of the largest plastics, chemicals and refining companies in the world.
