This expansion will support the fast-growing demand in Asia for cutting-edge solutions in electronics, driven by 5G technology, and in renewable energies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"content-block content-left content-rich-text content-color-transparent accordion-content \">\n<div class=\"wrapper\">\n<div class=\"content-text\">\n<p>This investment is fully aligned with the Group\u2019s strategy <strong>to develop its Coating Solutions segment with high value-added solutions<\/strong> and reinforce its downstream acrylics activities in Asia. It will enable Arkema <strong>to grow its high-performance and solvent-free solutions portfolio for UV curing<\/strong> marketed under the flagship brand<strong> Sartomer<sup>\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<aside><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.arkema.com\/files\/live\/sites\/shared_arkema\/files\/images\/markets\/3DPSA\/SLA%203D%20Printing%20_Getty%20images.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/aside>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"content-block content-center content-rich-text content-color-transparent accordion-content \">\n<div class=\"wrapper\">\n<div class=\"content-text\">\n<p>This new expansion is scheduled to come on stream in the second half of 2023 and will provide best-in-class regional supply to customers in Asia.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In addition to this new production capacity<\/strong>, which will leverage the most recent process and manufacturing standards,<strong> the plant aims at\u00a0carbon neutral growth<\/strong> thanks to an energy efficiency program, green electricity purchasing and the installation of solar panels.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"content-block content-quote content-color-transparent accordion-content \">\n<div class=\"wrapper-quote\">\n<div class=\"wrapper\">\n<p class=\"content-quote-text\"><em>We are committed to continuously develop innovative materials and sustainable technologies to meet the robust demand driven by megatrends such as new technologies, clean mobility and urbanization.This new capacity will enable us to provide our latest innovative photocure resin solutions and tailored services to our customers and partners in Asia.<\/em><\/p>\n<div class=\"content-author\">Laurent Peyronneau, Vice-President of Arkema\u2019s Coating Solutions<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Arkema announces the project to double its UV curable resins production capacity at its Nansha plant in China.
