This project is in line with Bostik\u2019s strategy to build a strong position in the attractive engineering adhesives market and to accelerate its development in the fast-growing electronics market, especially in Asia.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"content-block content-left content-rich-text content-color-gradient accordion-content \">\n<div class=\"wrapper\">\n<div class=\"content-text\">\n<p>Arkema is announcing <strong>the planned acquisition of Chinese company PMP<\/strong> (Shanghai Zhiguan Polymer Materials), which specialises in reactive hot-melt polyurethane (HMPUR) adhesives and generates <strong>over \u20ac1 million in annual sales<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>These adhesives are mainly dedicated to the consumer electronics market and are used in the bonding of mobile phones, tablets, laptops and connected objects.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<aside><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.arkema.com\/files\/live\/sites\/shared_arkema\/files\/images\/markets\/Electronics%20electrical\/electronic-adhesives.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/aside>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"content-block content-center content-rich-text content-color-gradient accordion-content \">\n<div class=\"wrapper\">\n<div class=\"content-text\">\n<p>Thanks to its expertise in formulating innovative solutions and its recognized know-how in processes and R&amp;D, PMP has developed solid positions in the very demanding and high-added-value consumer electronics market.
