Das neue Werk ist mit einem Investitionsvolumen von 20 Millionen Euro geplant und soll bis Mitte 2024 fertiggestellt werden. Mit den zuk\u00fcnftigen Kapazit\u00e4ten entsteht so der gr\u00f6\u00dfte Sterilisationsstandort Europas.<\/p>\n<section id=\"c36573\" class=\"\">\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p>Kremsm\u00fcnster, Juni 2023 \u2013 Der Sterilisationsdienstleister Mediscan mit Hauptsitz in Kremsm\u00fcnster baut angrenzend an das bestehende Werk einen weiteren Betrieb zur Sterilisation von medizinischen Produkten, Entkeimung von Lebensmittelverpackungen und Produktveredelung von Kunststoffen und Halbleitern. Die neue Anlage soll Mitte des Jahres 2024 in Betrieb gehen. Das Investitionsvolumen von 20 Millionen Euro umfasst die Anlagentechnologie, das neue Geb\u00e4ude mit Infrastruktur sowie eine weitere Photovoltaikanlage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Modernste Technologie und Know-how<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Die eingesetzte Anlagentechnologie entspricht modernsten Standards. Sie wurde gegen\u00fcber dem Vorg\u00e4ngermodell technologisch weiterentwickelt und kombiniert erneut zwei unterschiedliche Behandlungstechnologien in nur einer Anlage. Die Verf\u00fcgbarkeit der Sterilisation ist f\u00fcr das angrenzende Mutterunternehmen Greiner Bio-One von essenzieller Bedeutung, da dies den letzten Schritt in der Produktionskette darstellt. Die hergestellten Medizinprodukte werden bei Mediscan behandelt, bevor sie weltweit an die Kunden ausgeliefert werden.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"c36576\" class=\"\n\n                \"><\/p>\n<div class=\"container\">\n<blockquote class=\"blockquote\"><p>\u201cMit den neu geschaffenen Kapazit\u00e4ten entwickelt sich Mediscan in Kremsm\u00fcnster zum gr\u00f6\u00dften Sterilisationsstandort in Europa. With the new plant, another photovoltaic system will be installed in order to cover part of the high energy demand in the sterilisation operation with solar energy. As a result, Greiner Bio-One is one step closer to its goal of increasing the proportion of self-generated electricity to 1.5% of electricity consumption by 2025.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Commitment to the Upper Austria site<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Also in the field of sterilisation services, the international market environment is characterised by sharp price increases and limited availability. This makes it all the more important for Greiner Bio-One to ensure this service for its products and thus the supply of its customers.
