Husky Technologies, <\/span>a pioneering technology provider enabling the delivery of essential needs to the global community, recently hosted its Husky Connect Shanghai Open House, welcoming customers and partners from across China and the Asia Pacific region. The event, which took place October 13-16, marks a significant milestone in Husky’s long-term regional strategy combining a major capacity expansion at its Shanghai Manufacturing Center of Excellence with the global introduction of HyCAP PRO\u2122, its next-generation injection molding system for high-output beverage closure manufacturing.<\/p>\n

Investing in Regional Capacity and Capability<\/h3>\n

Husky first established a presence in China in 2004 with the opening of its Shanghai Manufacturing Center of Excellence. Today, the facility serves as the company\u2019s regional headquarters and is a key manufacturing hub supporting customers across Asia Pacific and around the world.<\/p>\n

Since then, Husky has continued to invest in its local infrastructure to better serve both regional and global customers. Equipped with advanced technology and manufacturing capabilities, the Shanghai facility produces machines and tooling to meet best-in-class quality standards. Ongoing investments in manufacturing, engineering, service, and technical expertise are expanding regional capacity and strengthening local support, enabling faster response times and solutions tailored to customers\u2019 evolving needs.<\/p>\n

A New Benchmark for Closure Manufacturing<\/h3>\n

A highlight of the event included the global introduction of HyCAP PRO\u2122, Husky\u2019s next-generation injection molding system for high-output beverage closure manufacturing. Purpose-built as an extension of Husky’s proven HyCAP\u00ae<\/sup> platform, HyCAP PRO\u2122 combines advanced injection molding, tooling, and system technologies to deliver up to 45% higher productivity than Husky’s traditional HyCAP\u00ae<\/sup> system in like-for-like applications.<\/p>\n

Introducing<\/span> this platform in Shanghai reflects the strategic importance of China to Husky’s commitment to global innovation.
