Beat Rupp takes over the post of CEO of PackSys Global AG on May 1, 2019, succeeding Dr. Manfred Zurkirch.
After 5 years operating as CEO at Hapa AG, part of Coesia Group, Beat will return to PackSys Global; an organization with which he has a long professional history. He studied Mechatronics / Production Technology at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne followed by post-graduate studies of business administration at ETH Zurich. In 1997, Beat joined kmk Maschinen AG, later renamed to PackSys Global, as Development Engineer. In 2000, he was appointed as member of the Executive Committee of the Swiss location and 4 years later became Technical Director for all locations. In this capacity, he was also responsible for extending and managing the service center in Mumbai. In 2006, he took over the overall responsibility for operations of the Swiss locations in Rüti and Burgdorf.

Dr. Manfred Zurkirch, who, as reported, decided to pursue a new professional challenge outside the Brückner Group, held the CEO role until the end of March 2019, then handed over his responsibilities for a brief transition to Angela Strigl, CFO, until Beat Rupp completes the PackSys management team again as of 1 May 2019.
