Trinseo Announces Price Increase for Polystyrene, Polycarbonate and Copolymers in Europe

Trinseo (NYSE: TSE), a global materials company and manufacturer of plastics, latex binders and synthetic rubber, and its affiliate companies in Europe announced for all polystyrene (PS), polycarbonate (PC) and ABS grades. Effective December 1, 2020, or as existing contract terms allow, the contract and spot prices for the products listed below will increase as follows:

  • STYRON™ general purpose polystyrene grades (GPPS) by 250 Euro per metric ton
  • STYRON™ and STYRON A-Tech™, STYRON C-Tech™ and STYRON X- Tech™ high impact polystyrene grades (HIPS) by 250 Euro per metric ton
  • CALIBRE™ Polycarbonate Resins by 250 Euro per metric ton
  • MAGNUM™ ABS resins by 305 Euro per metric ton
