Eric Cassisa appointed Arkema’s Vice President of Safety and Environment

On January 6, 2020, Eric Cassisa joined Arkema as the Group’s Vice President of Safety and Environment.

Eric Cassisa, 52, is an engineer from the ENSIC (École Nationale Supérieure des Industries Chimiques – Nancy [National Higher Institute of Chemical Industries, Nancy]) and has a degree in industrial production management and mechanical engineering from the University of Edinburgh. He also holds an MBA from the University of Aix-en-Provence. Eric Cassisa has a high level and broad industrial experience in the field of chemistry, having worked both in France and abroad.

He began his career in 1991 with BP Chemicals, where his duties included technical, project management, and commercial activities in the sale of polyethylene licenses. He later became Business Manager of the Olefins Division in Europe.

In 2005, he joined INEOS, where he worked for 10 years in various positions with operational responsibilities (plant management of between 150 and 500 employees) in Europe and the United States.

In July 2015, he became Industrial Director at INEOS Enterprises, a branch of the INEOS Group, where he supervised 25 plants and around 3,000 employees.
